The STITCH: Exploring Seattle

A few weeks ago I took a trip up to Seattle, WA to visit one of my best friends, Cambria. It was my first time there, so she wanted to show me all that the city has to offer…which is a lot!

Cambria, our friend Trina, and I spent a lot of time shopping in the city! We stumbled upon a Crossroads Trading Co., which is a place where you can buy, sell & trade clothes, shoes, and accessories. They had a bunch of cute stuff!!

There are so many great places to eat in Seattle, and we ate at a lot of them during our trip.  My favorite was a vegan bistro in Capitol Hill called Plum. I had a delicious salad along with French pressed coffee…It was the best coffee I’ve ever tasted!

On one of our last days in Seattle, we ventured downtown to Pike Place Market . It is one of the oldest, continually operating farmers markets in the U.S.!  They have tons of cool knick-knacks, great food, beautiful jewelry, and many talented street performers. Cambria and I decided to play a few songs at one of the stations at the market. It was a lot of fun, and the people there were super friendly.

Cambria has an amazing view of the city. Her apartment building used to be a Wonder Bread Factory. They still have the original sign!

Overall it was a great trip with my best friends and I can’t wait to go back and visit again for round two of Seattle fun!

Seattle has nothing on Portland. Portland is what hipsters wish Seattle could be. Seattle = Meg Ryan Steez…
