The Krochet Kids are making a difference!

It’s inspiring when a group of young people comes together to help make a difference in the world.  Krochet Kids International is a non-profit group committed to “empowering people to rise above poverty”.  What started as a high school hobby for a few friends, has evolved into an organization that provides support to a local group of ten women in Uganda who crochet beanies to be sold here in the United States.  All proceeds from the collection go back to helping those communities in Africa from where they came.  The Krochet Kids are doing their part to bring hope to those less fortunate by fighting poverty around the world.  Stop by their website, krochetkids.org, for more information on this incredible organization and how you can get involved.  And, while you’re there, pick up a beanie or two!

You can check out this video to learn more about the Krochet Kids and who they are!
