It’s a pretty cool thing to see someone’s dream come true. The Berrics made a video on the day when Chris Joslin turned pro. This will never get old.
You seent it straight! The Plan B team at its entirety shut down our beloved private skate park! It was their first ever demo with Chris Cole being on the team. Thanks to everybody who came out! Here is a video & photo recap!

We are more than HYPED for our buddy Chris Joslin. Watching him grow from being an Active Army team rider for the Active Long Beach shop, to non stop clips on his Instagram, to a heavy Etnies welcoming part, & a full mind blowing part on PLAN B TRUE. It was a gnarly year that’s for sure. This dude is on fire. The Skateboard Mag presents to you, 2014 Year’s Best Am. Congrats Chris!

Plan B’s TRUE video premiered at the Active in Long Beach, which happens to be Chris Joslin‘s home shop. He was at another premier so wasn’t able to make it to this one, but he technically was here while face-timing with Torey Pudwill on the line as the video started. Where’s that photo?!… slippin’. Anywho, here are some flicks from the night. Chris Joslin = intense.
Wholly cow my mind exploded last night. Chris Joslin. All you need to know.

Major thanks to Monster for the new park set-up which included a vert wall, handrail, four block, and hubba.
Thanks to Vans & Volcom for holding it down on the best trick contest!
Congrats to Daniel Espinoza who won this year’s best trick with a bigger flip front board to fakie on the Monster rail!
(Stay tuned for footage. For now, check out the photos!)
This past Saturday we barged Garvanza Skatepark in Highland Park, CA with a grill and a bunch of free giveaways.
We hooked up all the locals with some bomb carne asada tacos and went on with a quick skate jam.
Big ups to Diamond Supply Co. and Plan B for hooking it up with the free gear for giveaways.
We hosted a few quick best tricks contests, jam style format with 4 different obstacles and 5 minutes for each obstacle. We hit the Euro Gap, 6 stair handrail/hubba, bump to ledge and pyramid. Kids where throwing down tricks like it was nothing.
On the mic we had Plan B’s very own Colt Cannon, observing and judging.
It was a winner take all for each obstacle. We ended up with 4 different winners, each one specializing in their obstacle.Error loading Flickr gallery
