A 3 day tattoo & music festival in Orange County’s Fairgrounds. Active had a booth outside with a mini-ramp demo jam with Active team riders. I was only able to document Day 1 and half of Day 2. Descendents headlined the first night! Here are some photos!
The Musink festival consisted of a 3 day weekend, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday full of tattoo & music. Due to the busy weekend, I was only able to cruise it out on Friday. It was raining in the morning while they were setting up the ramps, but throughout the afternoon the rain stopped. A couple of the Active Army riders were able to cruise out last minute and skated the ramp. While that was going on, some of the homies went to get tatted inside. After that, the bands that played the first night were Guttermouth, The Vandals, and Bad Religion.
This coming March 8th thru 10th is the 6th annual MUSINK! So come on down, as bands such as Bad Religion, The Vandals, TSOL, A Pennywise RE-UNION!, Reverent Horton Heat, Lucero, The Headcat (w/ Lemmy Kilmister from Motörhead! Should be a pretty fun time overall to enjoy especially if you’re down for killer music & tattoos!!!

The 2010 Musink Festival at the OC Fairgrounds was a historic event for Active! It was an amazing blend of radness, tattoo artists, skateboarding and good times! With sick bands like The Damned, Buzzcocks, NOFX and even a Black Flag tribute band featuring Mike Vallely and Duane Peters.
The Legends Jam included skateboarding hall of famer’s Tony Alva, Duane Peters, Salba, Steve Olsen, Christian Hosoi, Eric Dressen, Eddie Reategui, and Ben Schroeder. Highlights include a tour of the tattoo halls by Creature Hessian Neil Heddings and a puppet show by Father Abraham.
Active hosted the mini ramp jam at the MUSINK Tattoo and Music Festival this past weekend which was held out at the O.C. Fairgrounds. Jarritos teamed up with Active in sponsoring the ramp and brought out legends such as Tony Alva, Christian Hosoi, Mike Vallely, Salba, Steve Olson, Eric Dressen, Duane Peters and others for the “Legends Skate Jam” Saturday night. Thanks to all who attended and we’ll see you next year!
