Here’s a little story to where the name GAMO came from Guy Mariano himself:
“GAMO in Gamoflage came from an old graffiti nick name and stuck around with a lot of the Girl and Chocolate fam. GAMO stands for Guy Anthony Mariano One. I was always drawn to graffiti art because of its similarities to skateboarding. Skating around a city looking for spots basically to express ourselves in some art form whether it be a trick or piece. Everyone leaving their mark in one way or another. I like the name and idea behind Gamoflauge because it represents everything I stand for now. With Lakai and Active joining forces in this shoe pack, these Gamoflage soles will be serving skaters everywhere.”
