Retro Clips: Lavar McBride in Trilogy

While we’re waiting on some fresh clips to arrive, I thought I’d go through YouTube and find a couple of my favorite parts from yesteryear and share them here. These will be long out-of-print clips that you won’t be able to find on store shelves, but you could probably find a poorly dubbed bootleg copy with xeroxed cover somewhere on the interweb.

I’ll start this off with Lavar McBride’s part from World/Blind/101’s Trilogy video (1996). Lavar had a real smooth style and was doing switch nosegrind reverts on Hubba Hideout in ’95. He fell off the face of the earth shortly thereafter, and never I never saw much more than a cameo or short part from him.

That guy was crazy good and super smooth. His older brother Marcus is still around, but I wonder what happened to Lavar.
