Nike SB Dunk Low “Roller Derby” Quickstrikes

Nike SB and the Made For Skate crew has teamed up to bring you this “Roller Derby” skateboard inspired Dunk Low.  The shoe resembles design elements from the unique and antique styling of that retro styling rollerskate sport.   Red  textured wood panel embossed materials alongside white distressed cracked leather on the toe box and heel, and a graphic of a girl on a roller derby deck printed on the insoles with a #10 embroidered on the front.  Instead of the traditional “Nike” embroidery on the back heel you’ll see the left shoe says “Skate” and the right shoe says “Board.”

Organized by Nike SB and Skateboard Museum the official release of the sneaker is this weekend in Stuttgart, Germany.  Presenting the “Metal Battle” event, to where some of the best riders in the area compete against one another on ONLY old school roller derby decks, that means no griptape just surfboard shaped boards and metal wheels!  Otherwise you can purchase this shoe at the following Active Ride Shop locations, they should be hitting stores starting today 10/18/2011, contact store for more details.
