I think Nike is a what eva brand for skateboarding the real shoes are ES, Globes, DVS and Emericas for me I think Nike SB are poser shoes thats just my opinion kids just started wearing them for skate and here comes nike “lets make some skate boarding shoes” i hate nike sb will never sport them poser shoes i like my eses way better.
My respect to those kids wearing those nikes but this is my opion.

I really don’t care. It seems as if every thing now has a target on skateboarding. If I were one of you lil complainers, I would focus on the recent things that will make it more of a mainstream activity. At least Nike has been seen in the scene. Unlike kswiss or puma. Koston on Nike is just chill. Lakai had dropped Alex, Anthony and now koston. Maybe they couldn’t afford to pay them, so it makes sense.

sponsor loyalty? he has 2 sponsors on crailtap, fourstar which he owns. him going to sb is like him going on independent. he left royal which is a crailtap company to go to independent. now he just left lakai to go to sb. it’s all fine it just adds to his career and it’s not like it’ll effect his skating in anyway.

Word on the street is Lakai couldn’t really afford to pay Koston anymore… I think it was a mutual ending of the partnership which is sad… but if more kids bought lakais instead of jumping on the nike train maybe it wouldn’t end up the way it did…

For me it would depend upon Koston on how he is going to play with his career. It’s hes decision so he knows best what he is getting into. It’s not about the shoes or what so ever. Its how he plays it now hes on SB. Cheee. Chill bras. Louie from Philippines.
Nike is the lamest **** ever but the reason koston left lakia for nike is because lakai couldnt afford to sponser him, while he was on the team the money was being split so him, carrol, lenoce, biebel and everyone else could be paid….when he left it was so his freinds carrol, howard, lenoce, biebel could be paid more and himself as well on nike…..still hate nike with a passsion though

I am thankful koston left Lakai. I will never put a pair of those on my feet. Nike to me has the best selection of skaters out there.
