We showed up thinking the weather was going to stay nice and warm in Denver. It went from high 80’s to thunderstorm in a matter of an hour. We were trying to finish out best trick contest and get the product toss taken care of when the rain hit us like a ton of bricks. Luckily we were parked pretty close and we could seek refuge in our Active Van (that ended up getting broken into later that evening, but that’s a whole ‘nother story all together). We had Active chants going in a tribal fashion and kids weren’t concerned about the rain, they wanted free product and we gave it to them! We had three best trick contests, one in which we had an ankle casualty and below you can see that I photographed Neil carrying the wounded off the course.
All in all, a great day in a great place… Denver… say it with me now DEN-VER! Thanks to everyone who came to the park and supported Hot Dogs & Hessians! You’re all great!
