It was quite a night for the DC Shoes collab release party with the infamous Big Brother Magazine. If you don’t know, Big Brother was a highly controversial skateboarding magazine at the time (1992 – 2004) that eventually led to Jackass, WildBoyz, etc… To those who skated during those times, Big Brother brings back nostalgia from that era.
Snowing in Irvine/Tustin? I didn’t think that’s geographically possible, but thanks to The Anaheim Ducks it happened! It was a fun day showing the ropes to the slopes for the future groms out there along with the crew at Burton. Here are photos from the Riglet event at “Duck The Halls” in The Market Place.
The force had awakened at Active Irvine Spectrum for the release of the Star Wars x Nixon collection. Boba Fett & The Stormtroopers had cruised out with Tony Hawk for the event. Here are photos from that day.
Stephen, Peter, and Matt Hill are the trio behind Globe, a brand which has shaped the skate and street industry in Australia for the past 30 years. UNEMPLOYABLE tells the Hill brothers’ remarkable story with epic imagery and interviews. Here are photos from the book release night at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
We brought the Endless Summer party along the next day to Active Escondido for a team signing. All hungover, or maybe not. Just as long as it was after noon then I think we were good. But the party didn’t stop there! Thanks for cruising out everyone! The line up: Bryan Herman, Windsor James, Don ‘Nuge’ Nguyen, Brian ‘Slash’ Hansen, Riley Hawk, Chris Gregson, Collin Provost, Jon Dickson, Justin ‘Figgy’ Figueroa, & Jeremy Leabres!
It’s party time! Our good friends from Psockadelic had done us a good one with this Endless Summer party at the Pour House in Oceanside! Everybody was there, your mom, your dad, even your ex’s! Radio Moscow kicked ass as always with their psychedelic blues and surprisingly Figgy’s new side band, WRIT opened up the place with a bang! The first of many awesome times with Psockadelic, cheers fellas!
The OC Brew Ha Ha is a craft beer event that went on in Oak Canyon Ranch. There ain’t no cell phone service there so you were SOL if you were trying to do a live feed ha ha!… If you’re a beer drinker connoisseur, you were at the right place. Active Ride Shop along with BEER SAVAGE came through & spiced up the place. Mini ramp from Keen Ramps, DC Shoes, DON’T CARE, and all the homies were there! Peep some flicks below.
