On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast of Mexico and took many lives, destroyed many people’s homes, and left them with lost loved ones. Katrina was rated the fifth deadliest hurricane to hit the United States! Even though the hurricane hit almost four years ago there are still people trying to fix the damages that have come to them. It is time for all of us to come together and help out those who have been affected by this tragic incident. Carlos Rios, a talented photographer who shoots our women’s ads, took a visit to New Orleans, Louisiana where he captured real photographs of the landscape after the storm. His images of the landscape have been untouched and are exactly what the property looks like today. These images are being sold on carlosrios.etsy.com in order to help raise funds for the continuation of his project. An image can definitely tell a thousand words and I recommend taking a look at his photographs of the incident and help support his cause to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
