We took some time out to find out what’s going on with Active Am, Theotis Beasley. Check it out…
Who are your Sponsors?
My Sponsors are Baker, Altamont, Thunder, Spitfire, Nike SB, Vitamin Water, and Flik Griptape.
How did you get into skating?
I got into from my cousins. He came over to my house and asked me if I wanted to skate with him and ever since that I’ve been skating all the time.
How does it feel to be a part of Altamont?
It is the best feeling. I love skating with Andrew Reynolds, Bryan Herman and the rest of the team. They take good care of me. When I got that call from Reynolds I felt so honored.
What’s up with Deathwish?
Deathwish is a new company that has a new warehouse. Brigada comes out of there also. Deathwish should have boards out in late May and we just finished the promo. The promo is out now.
Daily skate spot?
What do you like to do when you’re not skating?
I like to chill with my cousins. Watch skate videos like: Lakai, Nike, Habitat, and Shake Junt.
I listen to a lot of rap. Lately I’ve been listening to Rocko, Project Pat, Rick Ross, and Three 6 Mafia.
Favorite city for skating?
San Francisco. When I go up there I like chillin with John Aldan, Mic-e, and Darin Howard.
What’s next for Theotis Beasley?
I am going up to San Jose for a double set best trick contest on the 22nd of June.
I would like to thank Matt Para and Hairy at Baker Skateboards, Sai at Flik Griptape, Darin Howard, John Alden, and Mic-e Reyes at DLX, Travis at Vitamin Water, Erica Yary at Active, Hunter, Oliver, and Andy at Nike SB, and Justin Regan, Erin, and Saesha at Altamont.
